Ricky and Team bbs have just finished a loft conversion, adding a bathroom and completely refurbishing the family bathroom. It’s a high spec job with a single floor to ceiling 2.5m x 3m triple glazed window, amongst many other unusual features. Ricky and the team have completed the job to a very high standard - I’m thrilled with the quality of the work and the finishes they’ve produced. I’m even more pleased to have had Ricky do the work, as we found multiple significant structural issues with the house as the works progressed. The additional works included foundation underpinning, multiple additional steels and new lintels amongst others. Ricky is super knowledgeable and knows how to handle all issues, no matter how large or complicated. He has an excellent network of tradesmen and advisors on hand and was able to quickly provide the technical advice we need and has the experience and skill to carry out the required work. Ricky and the team were always polite, friendly and reliable and I trust them to have carried out good work for a fair price. Thoroughly recommended.

Ricky and his team did a very good job of converting our standalone garage into an open and airy office space. A pleasant and understanding team who finished the work to a good standard. We were also pleased to have been fitted in so promptly into his schedule. Many thanks to team bbs.

Having been repeatedly let down by a number of different builders and tradespeople over the past year, I was relieved and delighted to find someone who was finally reliable, trustworthy and professional. Ricky has consistently replied to my messages promptly, listened to what I wanted, turned up as agreed and completed the work to a good standard. On top of that, he is a genuinely nice guy who is a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend bbs to everyone without hesitation.

We 1st heard of team bbs and ricky from a friend of a friend. We asked for the contact details and asked ricky to come and quote on some drawings we already had done. The project was an extension to the side of the house. The same size of what we already had. So a good amount of work. Ricky,s quote was,nt the cheapest but it was,nt the most expensive. We went with ricky because he came highly recomended but also because he came up with some very good ideas to help maximise the potential of the 2 story extension. Once he was appointed we was given a start date. Ricky and his team arrived at 7.45 on the start date. Followed by a mini digger and also a large skip for demolitions and also for some of our rubbish. We came up against a few issues during foundation phase. But these were quickly and swiftly dealt with. During the build ricky promised we could live in the house and that they would be able to complete the extension without any interuption. Somthing none of the other builders offered. True to his word we lived our normal life through out the build. The only point the team needed to come into the existing building was to install the steel beams and to do the knock through. We was amazed at being able to instantly have this huge extra space working and livable. The build went like a dream and the ideas in which our architect had drawn up to what we have now are very much worlds apart. Ricky had nearly completly redesigned the internals of the house to accomodate all of our ideas. Even to the point of having our old staircase oak panelled and glass ballustrades. The stair case is now the focal ppint as you enter the house. Something we had no intention of doing at all. Me and my family could not be happier with the new house we have and also with the quality of workmanship. I often ask ricky to pop in whenever he is in the area for a coffee and a catch up to hear what other projects he has on. Also my 7 & 8 year old daughters always ask after ricky and the team. These lads were a real pleasure to work with & I cannot reccomend them enough. Katie smith
